Chantal Lieu is a Chinese-Canadian illustrator based in Cambridge, Ontario. She loves creating fun illustrations using a mix of digital collage and traditional textures, and often draws on her interests in animals and cultural mythologies to inspire her work. She strives to encourage people of all ages to explore their imaginations and seek different ways of looking at the world around them.

In her spare time, she loves to play video games, read web novels, and watch capybara videos with her dog.
